Objective of the training course

The objective of the training is to learn how to install, configure and manage Mirasys surveillance solutions smoothly and effectively.

Training method

The training course includes lecture presentation and hands-on exercises. The emphasis of the course lies on practical training.

Target group

The training course is designed for security specialists who need to know how to install Mirasys

surveillance software and who want to learn about the possibilities the Mirasys system offers. The target

groups for this training course are installers, security designers, maintenance staff and product managers.

Content of the training

• Mirasys as a company and product portfolio
• Basic structure of the Mirasys video recorder:
  • Hardware (Dell): Capture cards and I/O-cards.
  • Administrators software (Mirasys System Manager): First start and default settings of the recorder, configuration – connecting cameras, recording settings, camera settings, naming cameras, modifying motion detection settings-, and camera masks, adding profiles and users into the system and creating the Master and Slave structure.
  • End user’s software (Mirasys Workstation): How to use and control Mirasys Workstation, including how to save camera views and modify user defined layouts.
